OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations) courses equip learners with the knowledge and skills they need for their future.

Learn IT and Computing for Yourself

We can guide you through getting to know how to use a computer – whatever your level of knowledge. If you’re an absolute beginner, our 'Get Started and IT for the Terrified' classes will familiarise you with mouse, keyboard, and using software and documents. You’ll also discover Internet basics such as using the Web and email.

If you use a PC a lot, our 'Touch Typing' course will train you to type using all 10 fingers without looking at the keys. It’s probably the most effective way to speed up your office productivity. If you need to get to grips with the basics of one application, our 'Get Started' courses will introduce you to presentations and spreadsheets, while the 'Advanced Workshops' will have you getting to grips with sophisticated features of Microsoft Office applications.

Desktop Publishing / Web Design
We have a wide range of courses on offer, from getting images and illustrations ready for using on the Web to planning, designing and publishing your own Web site.
If you want to start or continue creating dynamic, animated Websites using Macromedia Flash, we’ve got the course for you.  Discover how to use Illustrator’s drawing and design tools for combining text and images, organise ideas and material and work to a design brief.  Learn how to use filters, layers and more advanced tools and techniques in Photoshop.

Using IT together is a great way to educate your children and produce a result they can be really proud of. Have fun and develop ICT skills with educational activities which children and parents / carers can do together. Through practical activities, presentations and demonstrations learn and create together. One child aged 8-13 years may attend with each adult.
