Access and Inclusion
For those who find it difficult to visit the library or lifelong learning centre, the following alternatives are available:

Idea Store Mobile with disabled access operates to sites throughout the borough

Home delivery library service to housebound individuals

Visits to day centres, lunch clubs and sheltered accommodation to provide reminiscence materials and therapy collections, or visit individuals as appropriate

Library and information services to patients in Mile End Hospital, Bancroft Unit & Tower Hamlets Centre for Mental Health

A wide range of library materials is available for all age groups, including large print books, talking books, music CDs and community information, and in community languages including Bengali / Sylheti, Urdu, Vietnamese, Punjabi, Gujarati and Hindi

A range of courses in community venues

Staff and vehicles are available to publicise library and lifelong learning services at community festivals and fun days
